- Our mission, or focus as our founder likes to call it, is to assist those struggling with self-injury and self destructive behavior, as well as helps loved ones of a self-injurer.
- In addition to our focus being geared toward helping people overcome self-injury, making literature available, programs and support groups that will aid in the recovery process, we also provide programs and services to those trying to overcome addictions, hurts, and hang-ups.
- While we are here to offer support and provide specific step based recovery programs, it is important to understand that Launching Point is not a treatment facility. We do not provide counselors or counseling services; simply put, we provide resources and support, not treatment. If you are looking for a treatment facility, rehabilitation center, or seeking psychiatric hospitalization, we can certainly help point you in the right direction, but we at Launching Point are here to provide support, not treatment.
