While we are here to offer support and provide specific step based recovery programs, it is important to understand that Launching Point is not a treatment facility. We do not provide counselors or counseling services; simply put, we provide resources and support, not treatment. If you are looking for a treatment facility, rehabilitation center, or seeking psychiatric hospitalization, we can certainly help point you in the right direction, but we at Launching Point are here to provide support, not treatment.
- Knowing that we are a support center and not a treatment facility, our general guidelines are as follows:
Regardless of the group or program you want to attend:
- It is understood that if a person who self-injures, while in attendance to any of the groups at Launching Point, he/she will remain harm free for the duration of that group (while in attendance, for the 1 1/2 to 2 hours). If a person is unable to remain harm free while in attendance, we ask he/she refrain from attending any of the groups until he/she can remain harm free for the duration of the group.
- If a person is suicidal or mentions they are actively considering suicide, that person should seek treatment and be free of suicidal tendencies prior to attending any of the groups or programs at Launching Point.
- Please know, if a person mentions he/she is considering suicide while at Launching Point, 911/emergency services will be contacted immediately so the person receives help & intervention.
LOCATION:

OTHER INFO:

- Group participation encouraged. Transportation to and from Launching Point is the responsibility of the person attending.
- Currently, all of our groups and programs are closed to those under age 18. If you are under 18, or know someone that is under 18 who needs support, please be advised that parental/guardian consent will be required prior to any groups or programs at Launching Point.
