Beyond Bandages Support Group:
Beyond Bandages is a support group for adult men and women who cause self-inflicted pain and/or injuries to themselves, who are seeking support in a group environment.
At Beyond Bandages, we talk about day to day struggles of self-injury, triggers and the stressors that lead to self-inflicted violence.
New Day & Time this Fall:
Beyond Bandages will take place during the weekday twice monthly starting in Septmeber 14, 2010.

History of the group: Thefirst support group meeting took place on November 4, 2005, when it was called "BSSI". The only support group in New Jersey, it was designed to be positive & uplifting.The support group took place twice monthly for 3 years. With the addition of UnShackled, a self-injury recovery program, the support group was reduced to once monthly with the new name of Beyond Bandages.
Please note: While attending any self-injury support group or recovery program at Launching Point, it is expected that a person refrain from self harming for the duration of the group.
