Launching
Point, Inc. is a self-injury support and resource center located in Morris County, New Jersey. Launching
Point was incorporated in December of 2006 and in October of 2007 was declared a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
(EIN: 20-8289482). Our mission at Launching Point is to assist those struggling with self-injury and self destructive behavior, as well as help loved
ones of a self-injurer. Although our main focus is geared toward that of self-injury, we also provide programs
and services to the broken-hearted and those trying to overcome hurts, hang-ups and habits.

We have a great staff of individuals at Launching Point that put 'everything
they got' into everything at Launching Point! In addition to Lisa Burrell, our program director; Wanda Marotta, our recovery program co-leader, and Katrina Bruan, our project leader; we have our founder, Vicki Duffy who serves as the executive director of Launching Point, Inc.
Launching Point is the only of its kind
and is geared to help those struggling with self-injury to take off to higher heights, and ultimately aim toward healthy
living. Before Launching Point had an official name, Vicki had been providing self-injury awareness, support,
and resources since 2001. On November 4, 2005 the first and only self-injury support group in New Jersey began;
BSSI (Breaking the Silence of Self-Injury). Vicki, an ordained minister
currently resides in New Jersey with her husband, Chris and their son, Jack.
We also have a dozen other volunteers that offer their time and talent as needed.
