Our 'Teaching & Testimony' Room

Celebrate Recovery is a bible & step based recovery program that started at Launching Point on November 4, 2007. The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate emotional and mental healing through the 8 recovery principles found in the Bible and the 12 Steps. (The Celebrate Recovery program was created in 1991 by John Baker of Saddleback Church).

Celebrate Recovery is for adult men & women and is a proven program that believes that people are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. Celebrate Recovery is not just for those battling addicitons -- it is for those in process of a divorce, relationship issues, co-dependency, abusive past, lying, self-injury, rejection, gambling, eating disorders, and more. Celebrate Recovery is aimed to help anyone with any addiction, hurt, habit and hang-up!

Our Small Group Open Share Room

The Celebrate Recovery program consists of 25 lessons, which are taught and reveiwed one by one on Friday evenings at 7:00pm. We meet in suite 202 where we begin with modern praise and worship, followed by an opening prayer and reviewing the 8 Principles and/or the 12 Steps. We then have a teaching from the Celebrate Recovery cirriculum and then after closing with the Serenity prayer, we dismiss for our small group open share time.

Celebrate Recovery takes place at Launching Point, located on 37 Vreeland Road in Florham Park, NJ (on the upper level of Living Praise Church). The Celebrate Recovery group is located in suite 202 & 204. Please click here for directions. Please park in the rear of the building and enter at the single set of double doors. There is no cost to attend, and purchasing of handbooks is optional.

Friday's Meeting (April 25)

It has been said that praise & worship can usher in the presence of God. Well, that has been true at every Celebrate Recovery meeting, including this last meeting. After wonderful praise and worship, we kicked off with a brief review of 'Spiritual Inventory Part 2' followed by our testimony with Ingrid for 'Testimony Night'.

Ingrid gave her testimony, which was amazing and shared many helpful things that God did in her life. Then the open share time in the yellow room was incredibly great, the discussion all focussed on spiritual inventory.

Spritual Inventory Part 2

What a night...we opened up with wonderful music and prayer. Working on ourselves is never easy, but with God all things sure are possible! The topic was directed at keeping our focus off the things that distract us and keep us from what God has for us.

Celebrate Recovery Step Study, 4/15

Woohooo. Last night we had the Tuesday night Celebrate Recovery Step Study ---- it was the best step study so far! Woooo, just when you think they can't get any better, some how the do!

It was real.

It was deep.

It was raw.

It was moving.

It was recovery in action.

All those that missed it, we hope to see you this Friday (or any Friday) for a great night of 'working on ourselves'.
